Relationship Insights within Microsoft Dynamics 365

Relationship insight is a new key feature, backed by artificial intelligence, that is built-in to Microsoft Dynamics 365. It collects data from a variety of sources from Microsoft's software ecosystems such as office 365, and the Dynamics 365 suite to provide a 360-degree view of the customer.

Relationship 1

Relationship Insights consists of three main features:
  • Relationship assistant
  • Email engagement
  • Auto capture

Relationship Assistant

The Relationship Assistant tracks the current sales process and communications by combining all the information at its disposal to generate a collection of action cards that are displayed on the user’s dashboard as a notification to a particular lead or opportunity.
Relationship 2

The Relationship Assistant is a powerful intelligent feature for dealing with open Leads and Opportunities, such as sending reminders to the User when a record has been neglected. The Relationship Assistant would generate an Action Card and display this on the user’s dashboard to help monitor the health of the open opportunities to help close more sales throughout the sales process.

Email Engagement

The Email Engagement feature assists in creating more effective emails by gathering trends on how your contacts are engaging with them. Email Engagement allows you to follow an email message, which will alert you when the recipient has opened the email, clicked on a link, opened an attachment, or sent a reply.

Relationship 3

You are now in control of when your emails are delivered as well, so you can write them at a time that suits you and also deliver them at a time when the recipient is most likely to be checking their emails. Email Engagement can also check the recipients’ time zones so it can provide advice on when the best delivery time would be.

Auto Capture

Auto Capture enables Dynamics 365 to access emails in Microsoft Exchange to find and display relevant messages that are related to a record in Dynamics 365. Messages found by Auto Capture are merged with other relevant Dynamics 365 activities column which can be shown in Contact, Opportunity, Lead, Account, Case, and Custom entities.

Relationship 6

All messages that were sent and received will remain private and only the assigned user can see them in the record. Users do have the option to Track any of the messages which will in turn be shared on the social wall.
